Emma Stone

Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 1988. She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the CEO and founder of the contracting firm, Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish, German & British Isles descent. Stone started acting when she was a young member of the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in the Kenneth Grahame production "The Wind in the Willows". She was in a variety of productions through her early teens. At the age of fifteen, she made the choice to make acting her profession. According to the official account, she developed an PowerPoint presentation, backed up by Madonna's "Hollywood" and later titled "Project Hollywood", in attempt to persuade her parents to allow her to abandon school and move to Los Angeles. The presentation was successful, and she and her mother moved to LA with her schooling completed at home. There she would spend her days auditioning. Her TV debut in 2004, when she was cast in the role of Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family. This led to many small TV performances in the years to follow. After several performances that were successful, she was able to portray the character of Jules in Superbad (2007). Her success was as Olive was a highlight of her role in Easy A (2010) followed by many more roles. In Phoenix, Arizona, she went to Xavier College Preparatory. While she is a redhead, her natural hair color her is blonde. Judd Apatow suggested that she change her hair color to suit Superbad (2007). She was so in love with it, she chose to keep her hair. At age 15, she persuaded her parents to let her to move to Hollywood by presenting the PowerPoint presentation that was appropriately named Project Hollywood. She began acting when she was 11 years old at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here she performed on 16 stages and also performed in the theatre's comedy improv group. Caylee Cowan was also an actor at the Valley Youth Theatre.
