Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born August 26 in 2002. He is known as Lil Tecca. The release of "Ransom," his 2019 single, helped him to become a major star. His debut mixtape, We Love You Tecca (2019) included the hit single. It reached fourth place in the US Billboard 200. The mixtape also featured the two singles "Love Me" and "Did It Again". His debut album"Virgo World" (2020), debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 at number 10. It contained the Billboard Hot 100 chart-charting songs "Dolly", and "When You Down". The second mixtape, We Love You Tecca 2 was released in August 2021. It included the songs "Repeat It", "Lot of Me" and many more. Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe is an Jamaican native, immigrated to the United States in Queens on August 26, 2002. He was born in Queens in Springfield Gardens. However, Sharpe moved later to Cedarhurst in Long Island. Sharpe had always hoped to play in the NBA when he was a kid but at the age 12 he decided to pursue a career in music. Sharpe attended Lawrence High School. Tecca was nine years old age when he began to rap on his Xbox. They would make diss tracks directed at one another that was posted to SoundCloud some time ago, but has since been taken down. At first, he did not have plans to begin music and instead dreamed of becoming an NBA superstar. In his middle school years However, he began to become bored with basketball and began to take music seriously. The first track to become famous, "Tectri", was created in partnership with Lil Gummybear and released in the early part of 2017. He also dropped "Callin" which was another one of his early songs. The career of Tecca began a year later after the success of his single "Ransom", which was uploaded to Cole Bennett’s Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel in May 22nd the 22nd of May, 2019. The song peaked at 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and has been played over 900 million times on Spotify and more than 300 million times on YouTube.
